Public education through 6th grade is provided by the Dominican government.  However, a parent must provide supplies, mandatory school uniforms and transportation for their children.  Therefore, many of the parents in Habanero and other rural areas cannot send their children to school.  Evergreen4kids provides a way and a hope. We provide shoes, socks, underwear, uniforms, pencils and a paper so the children can come to school
