Educational Mission Trip – February 2009

During February, Lori, a teacher from Vancouver, Washington visited our school and brought with her pencils, paper, crayons, erasers and books for each classroom.  The children in our village do not have books; there are usually no books in homes or in government schools. These are the first books in our school as well.  How exciting it will be for the children to read Dr. Seuss stories to the children! 
Lori also brought jump ropes and playground balls for the children.  The children had never jumped rope before, what a sight it was to see their happy faces.
